This interior design project was created for a client’s home who is passionate about Mexican folk art.

The vision for this space was to design a functional yet distinctive bookshelf that not only adds warmth and character but also cleverly conceals everyday items while providing an open display for the client’s cherished pieces. A fixed bench is incorporated, making the bookshelf feel integrated with the rest of the living room seating elements, and serving as a reminder to pause and take a moment of rest.

Natural oak and pink lime-plastered walls, paired with the whimsical shapes of custom handles, evoke the charm and artistry of Mexico’s traditional craftmanship, blending functionality with cultural heritage.
